Maria Jimenez
Lead Coach, Multicultural Leadership
Programs
Maria manages
the ALANA Leadership Development program and all other multicultural leadership
programs for HOD Consulting. Maria has extensive experience building and
utilizing a variety of assessments to ensure the growth and performance of key
talent, diverse employees, and critical business teams across various
organizations. Over the span of her
career, both as an internal talent management leader at various corporations and
as an external organizational development consultant, Maria has designed and
facilitated sessions focused on improving team effectiveness, building
communication and collaboration skills, leading successful diverse teams and enhancing
emotional intelligence and resilience. Results
have included process improvements, reduced costs, revenue generation, brand
recognition, and seamless replacement planning.
Maria has a Masters
in Business Research and Masters in Sociology from Stanford University, and
Bachelors in Psychology from Northeastern University. She holds a professional certificate in Organizational
and Executive Coaching from New York University and is a certified member of
the International Coach Federation.
Other certifications include Resilience Factor Inventory from Adaptiv
Systems, eDisc Leadership Assessment, and Hay 360 Emotional Intelligence,
Leadership Styles, and Climate Dimension Instruments. She has conducted research on Power and
Status, Influence, and Diversity and has been published in several academic
journals including Journal of Personality
and Social Psychology and Personality
and Psychology Bulletin.
Debra Keenan
Lead Coach, Non-Profit and Employee
Resource Group Leadership Programs
Debra manages
all HOD programs for the leaders of non-profit organization clients and
employee resource/affinity groups at our corporate clients. Debra brings over 20 years of business
management and leadership experience to HOD, both as a former senior VP and
business unit leader for a major investment bank and as principal and founder
of DKB Consulting, which has helped several non-profit and corporate clients
with management and leadership effectiveness.
Her areas of expertise include executive
coaching, management consulting, 360 feedback programs, project management and
image consulting.
Debra has a BA from Douglass College and an MBA
from University of Wisconsin. She has a
professional certificate in Organizational and Executive Coaching from New York
University.
Cathy Quartner Bailey
Co-Lead, Retention and Work-Life Programs
Cathy co-manages
all retention and work-life programs for HOD Consulting. She brings a wealth of business management
and executive development experience to HOD from her background as a senior
marketing officer at various corporations including British Airways, where she
spearheaded the development and launch of a new worldwide identity for the
airline. She is also founder of Quartner & Associates, through which she
has provided strategic marketing expertise and executive development services to
various organizations including Johnson & Johnson, Kraft, American Express
and Barclays Capital. Cathy specializes
in leadership coaching with focus on developing communication skills, emotional
intelligence, managing change and work life balance. A successful on-ramper who returned to the workforce after off-ramping to take care of her young family, Cathy also co-manages all HOD off-ramping/on-ramping coaching programs.
Cathy earned an MBA from The University of Chicago and a BA from Emory in Economics. She is a NYU Certified Executive Coach, RCS certified coach, certified by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and a Certified Professional Behavioral Analyst (CPBA). Cathy also teaches Powerful Tools for Coaching Business Leaders at NYU’s Leadership and Human Capital Department.
Sharyn Ben-Zvi
Co-Lead, Retention and Work
Life Programs
Sharyn Ben-Zvi has spent over 14 years in the media and publishing
industries working with leaders at all levels to build organizational
structures required to meet the challenges of their business plans and
strategies. Sharyn’s specialty is in the
areas of organizational development, leadership and executive development,
employee relations, talent management and performance management.
Prior to becoming an executive coach, Sharyn worked for
over 8 years at Time Inc. as Director, Human Resources. During this time she served as the chief HR
advisor and active strategic member of senior management teams to continually
improve the performance of each organization.
Before joining Time Inc., Sharyn worked at The Walt Disney Company as a
Senior Human Resources Generalist. There
she advised and counseled managers and employees on employee relations issues
and recruited for various levels within the organization.
Sharyn has her certification in Organizational and
Executive Coaching from New York University.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management/Organizational
Development from The New School and a B.A. in American Studies from The
American University.
